Historic Flying Ltd
Historic Flying Limited, a company that since the late 1980's has been synonymous with the classic British Spitfire. It was formed initially to restore five Spitfires from the Royal Air Force's stock of Gate Guardians. The first of these, RW382, flew in 1991. Since then Historic Flying has restored approximately a third of the world’s flying Spitfires.
The Aircraft Restoration Company has built up a fairly impressive collection of its own over the years. Take a look at the fleet here along with the projects we are working on behind the scenes.
If you would like to discuss the use of any of our aircraft in airshows, special events, televisions or film work please get in touch via the contact page.
Whether you are a seasoned aviation engineer looking for a change, or somebody who is good with their hands and is considering an apprenticeship in the aviation industry,
